Dear Colleague,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2006 EURAPS Meeting in
Istanbul. This beautiful and historical city, that is over 2600 years
old and has cradled numerous well known civilisations, is eager to host
this meeting and to welcome its distinguished attendance between 25th
-27th May 2006.
The Congress Venue and the main hotel is the Conrad Hotel. Enjoying a
prime position overlooking the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara, the
hotel offers a delightful combination of traditional elegance and
contemporary design.
Apart from a fabulous history, Istanbul has stunning natural beauty, not
to mention cultural riches, exciting shopping, sophisticated nightlife
and world-class dining!
In addition to the interesting scientific programme of the 2006 Meeting
we will also offer you a wide variety of Post Tour options, from private
yacht cruises and overland expeditions to cultural tours and relaxation
on some of the Mediterranean ‘s finest beaches... (Further details on
the tours can be found on the Euraps website).
As you probably know, the Euraps Meeting aims at bringing together the
best and most original presentations that were held at the National
Society Meetings.
For those of you who would like to present at the Euraps Meeting, I
cordially invite you to send in your abstracts before 1 December 2005.
Abstracts can only be submitted online and the abstract forms can be
found on the Euraps website: http://www.euraps.org, Meetings, Meeting
2006, Abstracts.
Do read the guidelines carefully and bear in mind that, in order to
present, you need to be sponsored by a Euraps Member and only one
abstract per person will be accepted. However, you can always have more
abstracts submitted by other members of your team or department.
You will be notified whether or not your abstract is accepted in
February 2006.
Please note that, in order to become a Euraps member, you need to have
presented at least one paper at a Euraps Meeting.
We hope to see you in Istanbul!
